Tara is a Family Nurse Practitioner, graduated from Grand Canyon University with her masters degree. As a native to Arizona, she has deep Arizona roots that drive her desire to serve the community. She has been in the nursing field for six years and worked in primary care, aesthetics, pediatrics, inpatient rehabilitation medical rounding, ortho-trauma, and telemetry. She is a Daisy Award winner, which is the highest honor a nurse can receive which requires nomination.

As a mother of three, Tara is no stranger to care, grace, compassion, and the challenges that come with family-work-life balance. Together with her man, they try to shape a home life founded in Christian worldview that will foster health and success.

“The provider-patient relationship is the essence of healthcare practice, an essential element in the restoration and preservation of health”, says Tara.

Tara’s personal values include honesty, empathy, fairness, perseverance, commitment, faith, balance, and positivity. “There are probably more but this is ideally how I would like to live my life by and practice as a provider by” says Tara. Tara has grown much closer to God over the last few years which has shaped her values. It has become part of her daily life and how she interacts with people. Tara feels these values will be beneficial because it can foster an honest compassionate relationship with patients. Tara hopes to use her Christian-based values as a foundation for a healing environment that will foster establishing and maintaining rapport with my patients.
