Support is Key. I am writing today to share my experience and success with Estrella Family Care and Aesthetics. I first found them through our community website and got introduced to Chuck and his staff because my teen daughter needed a sports physical. Time went on and I followed their growing business and saw how much they love supporting the community we live in and we found ourselves needing extra support for my teen daughter again. Chuck was always super responsive, scheduled us quickly and the fact that they came to our home has made it even more of a blessing. I started my weight loss journey last year March 21st 2022. I am a post bariatric patient that experienced weight gain after covid and some depression issues led me to using food as a coping skill. I went back to basics for my weight loss surgery and did this for 9 months. In that 9 months I was able to lose weight but at the cost of my own mental health. I had seen that Estrella Family Care and Aesthetics offered weight loss solutions but being stubborn I wanted to see if I could get these solutions covered by my insurance company. I reached out many times to Chuck just asking questions about certain medications , FDA approvals , Ect and though at that time I still wasn’t ready to sign up Chuck still willingly answered all my questions and treated me with kindness and support I was looking for. Long story short, after months of trying to get my insurance to pay for the GLP1 Medication ( ozempic / wegovy ). I surrendered and reached back out to Chuck. I signed up for their program. He scheduled me for a consultation right away. We discussed what I was currently doing, my health history and what he felt was going to help me reach my goals best. I was in agreement and we moved forward. I had my consult and 4 days later I had my first dose of the Semaglutide. I reached my goal within the first 4-1⁄2 weeks of being on medication. It wasn’t just reaching the goal that satisfied me, it was feeling heard, understood and supported by Chuck and his Staff. I have mainly worked with him and Tara and I hope that we continue to find reasons to work together in our future.
